He was predeceased by: his parents, George Funk and Maizie Funk (Naegely); his wife Claire; his siblings, Herby, Clarence, Norman, Edna, Edith and Elizabeth; and his great grandchild Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Funk (Linda), George Funk (Sue), Georgette Burritt (Edward), Sandra Woerner and Janice Emery (Edward); his brother Eugene "Lee" (Joyce); and his son-in-law Richard Weikert. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
