He was predeceased by: his grandmother Margaret Perkins; his mother Ella Schafer; and his brothers, Clayton Girou, Walter Girou and Wilson Girou.
He is survived by: his wives, Elizabeth May Girou (Holmes) and Betty; and his children, Robert David Girou (Rita) of Florida, Bill Giroux of Florida, Donna Kromer, Walter Sickels of Hellertown and Dottie Fornaro (Dave) of Bethlehem. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
