He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Delfoe and Mildred Delfoe (Steiner); and his sister Dorothy Kurtz. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor A. Delfoe (Panik); his close friend Abby; his children, Joseph "Jay" C. Delfoe Jr. (Valerie) of Atoka, TN and Elaine D. Lipp (Robert) of Hellertown; and his grandsons, Brian Lipp (Laura), Todd Lipp (Eilidh) and Cory Lipp Kukuvka (Luke).
