He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank LaPorta and Angelina LaPorta (Urcioli); and his siblings, John (Jack), Anna Beisel and Mary Thorne.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael W. Jr. (Vanessa) of Bethlehem, James W. Coopersburg (Janice A.) and Jeffrey W. (Arlene) of Allentown; his grandchildren, Michael W. III, Gabriella Reinert (Taran), Christina and Julia; and his great grandchild Wyatt Reinert.
