He was predeceased by: his wife Doris B. Carlton (Sharrer); his parents, Thomas L., Sr. and Gertrude Carlton (Schaefer); and his siblings, Kay Carlton, Sue Yawn, Michael Carlton and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas L., III (Karen) of Colorado Springs, CO, Randy L. of Oswego, NY, Terry L. of San Leandro, CA and Lisa K. Litzenberger (John) of Kintnersville; his brother David (Gina) of Gainesville, GA; and his grandchildren, Amanda K. Carlton and Nicholas J. Litzenberger. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
