He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Smith and Catherine Derr Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Diehl Smith; his son Mark K. Smith of Greencastle; and his stepchildren, DeRay Gibble (Karen) of Chambersburg and Belinda K. Holbert (Larry) of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
