She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Helsel and Anna Helsel (Kifer); her husband James Merritts; and her son Tom. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Merritts of Altoona, Brian of Hollidaysburg and Troy Merritts of Hollidaysburg. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sorge Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (422 N Juniata St, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
