She was predeceased by: her parents, John Despot and Helen Despot (Umbower). She is survived by: her husband Gordon A. Hein; her son Robert T. Hein of Altoona; her sisters, Linda K. Despot of Hollidaysburg and Bonnie J. Middleton (Dennis) of Hollidaysburg; her siblings' children, Heather Moyer and Jason Bottenfield; her great-nephews, Maxwell Bottenfield and Collin Spotts; her aunt Cheryl Umbower; and her brother-in-law Tom Hein.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fink & Stone Funeral Home, Inc. - Williamsburg (424 W 2nd St, Williamsburg, PA 16693). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
