He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stoops and Tina Wert. He is survived by: his spouse Stacy Litzinger; his daughters, Kaitlyn and Madelyn; his siblings, Amber Bush, Amanda Owens and Philip Stoops; his uncle Eric McKee; his aunt Judy Vaughan; and his mother-in-law Robin Litzinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
