With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daisy A. Farine of Homer City, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hilty and Anna Hilty (Foley); her husband Joseph Farine, Sr.; her great grandchild Carter Joseph Racicot; and her siblings, Samuel Hilty, Herman Hilty, Thomas Hilty, Richard Hilty and Anna Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Barber (Burton), JoAnn Grove (Scott), Joseph Farine, Jr. (Cynthia) and Denise Horchar (Steve); her grandchildren, David, Ryan, Jessica, Justin, Adam, Alicia, Anthony, Brandon, Logan, Mason, Matthew and Rebbeca; and her siblings, Dorothy Petereson, Patricia White, JoAnn Hundley (Robert), Jeanne Hilliard (Douglas), Debrah Hilty, Bonnie Hilty and William Hilty (Kris).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (4606 Old US 119 Hwy S, Homer City, PA 15748). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Bowser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (4606 Old US 119 Hwy S, Homer City, PA 15748). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish (Lucerne Rd, Lucerne Mines, PA). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Cemetery (200 Clairvaux Dr, Indiana, PA 15701).
