She was predeceased by : her parents, Lena Cager Byrd and Albert Cager; her sons, Bill Byrd and Charles Byrd; and her siblings, Celeste Campbell, Alberta Johnson, Emma Baker, Xnola West, Elmer Byrd, Joshua Byrd, Paul Byrd and Betty Byrd.
She is survived by : her children, Darryl Byrd, Xnola Payne, Val Byrd, Vertie Byrd, Pariss Cager and Deneen Proctor. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
