He is survived by : his son Raymond III; his sister Mildred Cundiff-Thompson; and his significant other Daisy Wagner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Mildred Thompson and Family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your bother, Ray.. As I would enter the church and if he would be outside he would always greet me with a gentle smile. I am going to miss that. You must now cherish the memories you both had even thou he is gone from your sight, he will always remain in your heart.
