She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lenoard Woodel and Joyce Arden Godbey; and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Godbey (George W. Tietjen) and John C. Tietjen. She is survived by: her children, Robert Tietjen (Deborah), Susan Hanson (Corey) and David Tietjen; and her grandchildren, Benjamin, Karli, Devin, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Finn and Remy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, her sisters-in-law and other extended family.

Donations in Jane's name may also be made to the Dessin Animal Shelter, which she frequented when her collection of cats ran low.
