With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Steven Chmelik (Honesdale, Pennsylvania), born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, who passed away on July 31, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Patricia and Richard; and his siblings, Craig and Rhonda. He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Chmelik; his children, Joshua Chmelik, Ricci Chmelik, Santina Saprona and Dustean Chmelik; his grandchildren, Eden, Daimon, Killian and Marius; and his siblings, Jojo Mcmahon (Jim) of Westcliffe and Bert Steele (Gabby) of Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center.
