It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane S. Cavender (Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania), born in State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Stearns and Genevieve Stearns; her husband Dr. John C. Cavender; her son Peter; her grandchildren, Timothy and Holly; and her sisters, Karen Kerr and Sally Geda.

She is survived by : her son Charles (Jennifer Johnson); her stepdaughter Barbara; her grandson Alex; her brother Tom Stearns; her sister-in-law Jennifer Shepherd; her nephews, Michael Kerr, Donald Geda and Mark Geda; and her niece Karen Dos Passos.
