He was predeceased by : his father James R. Scritchfield; and his sister Kathy Jean. He is survived by : his mother Lorna J. Scritchfield (Oakes); his sister Monika Miller (Daniel); his nieces, Olivia Miller and Erin Bollinger; his aunt Jean Dalton; and his close friend Kelly.
