He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Heister and Pearl Heister (Pittman); his wife Eunice O. Heister (Morris); and his daughter Jody Zelanko. He is survived by: his children, Michael Heister of Hopewell, PA, Tammy Stroz (Ed) of Bedford, PA, Johnny Heister (Tammy Hoover) of Hopewell, PA and Kathy Diehl (William) of Hopewell, PA; and his siblings, Harry Heister, Sally Perrin (Ron) and Monty Heister (Mila). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Akers Funeral Home (299 Raystown Rd, Everett, PA 15537). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
