She is survived by: her parents, Samuel J Cerrato, Jr. and Vincentine; her spouse Marie Lange; her siblings, Garay Philip (Elizabeth), Mark Francis (James), Assunta Ann Romero (Tony) and Samuel Joseph Cerrato III; and her godson Benjamin Joseph Cerrato Romero.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations in Karen's name can be made to The Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, 475 E. Chelten Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19144 or the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19111.
