It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Cornell of Houston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Cornell and Elizabeth Rose Cornell; his children, Michael Cornell (Alenka) of Bolingbrook, IL, Sheryl Cornell-Knapper of Canonsburg, Wray Cornell (Melissa) of Avella and Guy Cornell (Tricia) of Avella; his grandchildren, Jennifer Riggs (Darren), Regina Knapper, Crystal Lightner (John), Trisha Cornell, Cassie Fitzgerald, Kristen Cornell, Christopher Cornell, Timothy Cornell and Zachary Cornell; his great grandchildren, Jazmin Kelley, Dominic, Wyatt Lightner and Brynn Vallina; his son Wade Charles Cornell; and his sisters, Florence Kornicnik and Lucille Dornan.
Interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines should be followed.
