With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mona Lea Megyesy of Houston, Pennsylvania, born in Washington, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira W. Reed and Myrtle Marker Reed; her husband Saviour; and her siblings, Evelyn Whithurst, Voigt Reed, Merle Reed and Wayne Reed.
She is survived by: her daughter Mona May Megyesy; her pets, Gypsy and Missy; her children, Clarence M. Megyesy Jr. (Noi) and Nancy L. Koraido (Joe); her granddaughters, Sandy Giammanco (Rich) and Lisa Shwallon; and her great grandchildren, Emily Lenhart (Tyler), Caitlyn Garvin, Vanessa, Andrew and Alison Shwallon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. (925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in her honor, to Central Assembly of God, 155 McGovern Road, Houston, PA 15342, or to the Washington City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301.
