It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera A. Phillips (Houtzdale, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 20, 2017, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Porter Albright and Melissa Albright (Walls); her husband Ray I. Phillips; her son Dean L. Phillips; her great great grandchild Alana Kanouff; and her siblings, Jesse Cramer, Bess Martin, Louise Phillips, Faye Jean Berg, Porter, Roy, Earl and Bill Albright.

She is survived by : her daughters, Diane Refalsky (Bob) of DuBois, PA and Sharon McIntire (Don) of Houtzdale, PA; her siblings, Lena Woods (Jack) of West Decatur, PA, Mary Yarger and Richard Albright of Brisbin, PA.; and her daughter-in-law Elaine V. Phillips. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
