She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Ross and Ruth Ross (Curry); and her husband Clifton D. "Curley" May. She is survived by: her children, Diane Savard (Russ) of St. Augustine, Fla., Marty VanBuskirk (Denny) of Muncy Valley, Jeff May (Diane) of Hughesville, Wayne May (Susan) of Picture Rocks and Chris May of Hughesville; and her grandchildren, John Golder, Jessica Acuna, Hayden VanBuskirk, Logan VanBuskirk, Michael May, Matthew May, Joshua May, Meagan May and Megan Helwig. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home - Hughesville (557 E Water St, Hughesville, PA 17737). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hughesville Friends Church (137 S 3rd St, Hughesville, PA 17737).
