He was predeceased by: his wife Glenna M. Shaner (Holmes); his parents, Arthur Shaner and Emma Shaner (Clark); and his siblings, Eleanor Fry, Sylvia Fry, Zelda Barto, Donna Miller, Jacqueline Woodside, Kenneth "Mike", Lyle, Grant and Earl Shaner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Shaner of Hughesville and Susan Shaner (John Roberts) of Cockeysville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home - Hughesville (557 E Water St, Hughesville, PA 17737). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
