It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. McCarthy Jr. (Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James McCarthy Sr.; and his nephew Michael Games. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline "Jackie" Teresa Hulsey; his children, Hope, Christina (Michael), Kathleen (Earl), Lauren and James III (Danielle); his wife Pamela McCarthy; his grandchildren, Krystal, Jessica, Gabriella (Collin), Michael, Ryleigh, Dominick, Teagan and Charles; his great grandchildren, Maven and Baby L. Jim; his sister Teresa (Alan); his niece Teresa (Christopher); and his great-nieces, Teresa and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, Inc. Tuesday (333 County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) or the American Heart Association.
