He was predeceased by : his son Richard Werc; and his sister Krystyna Dziemska (late Juliusz). He is survived by : his wife Joan Werc; his daughters, Juliet Cleary (Kevin) and Cynthia Morris (Brian); his grandchildren, Dziadziu, Shane, Regan, Kelly, Declan and Molly; and his sister Barbara Swidzinska (late Adam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
