She was predeceased by: her spouse Lamont D. "Bud"; and her sibling Stephen Tanella. She is survived by: her children, David (Dorothy), Susan Thompson (William) and Julie Leonard (Alan); her siblings, Gloria Roche and Charles Tanella; her grandchildren, Daniel (Patrice), Dana (James), Christian, Jesse, Neil and Justin; and her great grandchild Giovanna Marie.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
