She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Hamilton and Selena Hamilton (Crawford); and her siblings, Maureen, Joseph and Robert.

She is survived by : her children, Suzanne Crossman (Dan) of Gloucester, Massachusetts, David Leitch (Ellen) of Charlotte, NC and Bruce Leitch (Deborah) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew (Chelsea), Andrew, Allison, Justin (Bailey), Jared (Rebecca), Jordan (Macey), Joshua (Kaylie), Jacob Leitch, Brennen and Gillian Crossman; her great grandchildren, Justin and Samuel Leitch; and her grandchildren, Russ, Ruth Ward, Beth and Suzann.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Center Church of Charlottesville, Virginia, where Marylou's grandson Justin is Executive Pastor.
