With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Minkang Chen (Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Yin C. Chen and Wansu Chen; and his brothers, Frank and David Chen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McLaughlin Chen of Lancaster, PA; his children, Martin of New York, NY and Emily Chen-Bendle (Neil Bendle) of Watkinsville, GA; his granddaughters, Maura, Pippa Bendle of Watkinsville, GA and Pearl Chen of New York, NY.; his stepdaughters, Meghan Mettler (Matthew) of Kansas City, MO and Tonya Landfair (Adam) of Renton, WA; his grandchildren, Peter, Allison Mettler of Kansas City, MO and Olivia Landfair of Renton, WA; and his siblings, Min Lin and Melvin Chen.
