He was predeceased by: his parents, Arunasalam Subramaniam and Kuganeswary Subramaniam (Ariyanayagam). He is survived by: his daughters, Suganya Khanthan and Shamita Khanthan; the parent of his children Rohini Khanthan; his grandchild Naya Hartnett; and his siblings, Iswara Gowri Nadaraja and Easwara Janani Sivaloganathan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
