With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara K. (Matthews) Freeberg in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. "Jack" Matthews and Virginia Matthews Helsel (Rohland); her brother Gary Matthews; her brother-in-law George Swanger; and her nephew John Swanger.
She is survived by: her husband A. Larry Freeberg; her daughter Lee Ann Geissinger of Huntingdon; her stepchildren, Karen Smith (Ray) of Huntingdon and David Winfield (Lori) of Huntingdon; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ramsey (Shaun) of Petersburg, Jeffery A. Geissinger (Latrisha) of Huntingdon and Randy Pecht (Courtney) of Hollsopple; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Nathan, Seth, Magdalyn and Raelynn; her great great grandchildren, Braxton and Kaydren; her sister Valerie Swanger of Fousetown; her sister-in-law Marjorie Matthews of Mill Creek; and her sibling's children, Tammy Thompson and Mark Matthews.
