She was predeceased by: her brother Henry Ruzakowski Jr.; and her sister-in-law Laura L. Athey. She is survived by: her husband Donald J. Athey; her sons, Mitchell Athey and Iain MacLean (Marianna); her granddaughter Lilian MacLean; her siblings, Joan Metz, Diane Russell, Edmund Ruzakowski (Anne) and Wayne Ruzakowski; her sister-in-law Michele Brignac; her parents-in-law, William and DiAnn Athey; Mary McLean. She is also survived by cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. (5864 Heckert Rd, Bakerstown, PA 15007). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (2510 Middle Rd, Glenshaw, PA 15116).

Contributions in Pat's memory can be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.
