He is survived by: his mother Shirley Golec, Sr. (Doppelheuer); his son Steven Golec, Jr.; his stepdaughter Ashley Carley; and his siblings, Charles Golec (Lisa), Cindy Fellema (Pete) and Jeff Langer (Ronna). He is also survived by 4 nieces; 2 great nieces; and 1 great nephew.
