It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dirk J. McCallen (Irwin, Pennsylvania), born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Felix, Anna Quaranto, Edward, Rita McCallen, Jim and Margaret Berkey.
He is survived by: his parents, Carolyn A. Quaranto Berkey (Jim) of Latrobe and Jim McCallen (Lisa) of Loyalhanna; his children, Jake and Joelle; his siblings, Heather, Benjamin and Sunie McCallen (Adam Piper); and his aunts, Pat McCallen and Karen Maxson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
