She was predeceased by : her parents, Preston Smith and Galdys Smith (Hammell); her siblings, Sherwyn D. Smith, Leland A. Smith, Durand M. Smith, Marilyn S. McPeak, June S. Stephens, Glenda R. Bidgood, Kenyon K. Smith and Dianne S. Johansson; and her sister-in-law Barbara Goemont.

She is survived by : her husband Martin H. Fela; her son Theodore P.; her daughter-in-law Amy S. Fela; her grandsons, Tyler J. Fela and Tanner M. Fela; and her siblings-in-law, Jean F. Smith, Veronica Sheara and Richard C. Fela (John M. Fela). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
