With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy Gaudi of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy left this world on September 8, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Alexander Moccia and Rose Vallo Moccia; her husband Paul J. Gaudi; and her siblings, John Moccia, Rev. Virgil Moccia, Carmella Schnautz and Pauline Nespeca.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry "Yitzer" Gaudi (Jane) of Owings Mills, MD, Marcia Aducci (John) of North Huntingdon, Linda Gaudi of Centerville, VA and Doreen Gaudi (Rich Mock) of Jeannette; her grandchildren, C. J. Aducci (Nikki), David Aducci and Tara Gaudi (Mark Wolfe); her great grandchildren, John, Sam and Max Aducci; and her friend Jon Soles of Jeannette. She is also survived by her family, friends, grandchildren and great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. (201 N 1st St, Jeannette, PA 15644). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (314 Bullitt Ave, Jeannette, PA 15644).
