He was predeceased by : his siblings, Steven Jr., James and Betty; and his parents, Mary Carosella (Rapa) and Steven Carosella Sr..

He is survived by : his son John "B. J." Horanic; his daughter-in-law Donna; his grandchildren, Jonathan Michael and Marissa Marie; and also Christen Crowely.
