She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald J. Cox and Mae Ruffner Cox; and her sister Betty Ann Stern. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Mains of Jeannette; and her children, Diana Jo Auen (Neil), Donald James Mains (Geneva), Martin Joseph Mains (Lisa) of Level Green and Patrick Joseph Mains (Mouly). She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jeannette Public Library, 500 Magee Avenue, Jeannette, PA 15644.
