It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Acernese Washinski of Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania, born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Acernese and Eva Trotter Acernese; and her siblings, Louis J. Acernese Jr. and Rosalie Grebeck. She is survived by : her daughters, Rhonda Lavan (Jerry) of Plains and Dawna Patterson (Reese) of Avoca; her sister Eva Mae Falcone of Pittston; and her grandchildren, Kristen Patterson, Kassandre Stokes (Dashaun), Kyle Patterson (Tricia) and Jerry Lavan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
