She was predeceased by : her parents, George Nemitz and Catherine Pelacek Nemitz; and her siblings, Michael, John, Victor, Anna, Julia, Barbara and Mildred.

She is survived by : her husband Stephen Barna Sr.; her children, Stephen Barna Jr. of Jermyn, Fell Twp of Jermyn, Ellen of Jermyn, Robert of Jermyn, Alan Barna of Jermyn and Sandra Newcomb (Phil) of Jermyn; her grandchildren, Shane McGarr of Jessup and Martina Barna of Archbald; and her brother Walter Nemitz of Wayne, N. J..
