He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar A. Poe and Leona Mae Poe (Shankweiler); and his daughter Jo Ann McGavin. He is survived by : his wife Marilyn of Jim Thorpe; his son David of Jim Thorpe; his brother Alan of Port Jervis, NY; and his granddaughter Laura of Jim Thorpe.

Memorial contributions in Edgar's memory may be made to St. Luke's Hospice or the Allentown Rescue Mission C/O the funeral home.
