He was predeceased by : his parents, Ronald B. Tappan and Phyllis Emmert (Sinabaugh); his daughter Sarah B. Tappan; and his brother Andy Tappan. He is survived by : his children, Timothy R. Tappan of Topton and Nora M. (Scott Smith) of Lehighton; his grandchildren, Leah, Avery Tappan and Tilly Smith; and his siblings, Mark Tappan of Lehighton, Bonnie Wagner of New York, Debbie Johnson of New York, Sharie Post of New York, Pat Tappan of New York and Jeff Cheresnowsky (Ellen Cardell) of New York.
