Agnes Swarney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Agnes Swarney of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Singel and Dorothy Singel (Keblesh); her husband Stephen M. Swarney; and her siblings, John (Louise), Andrew (Gerry), Stephen (Jean), George (Betty Singel), Dorothy Singel and Mary (Lou McCawley).
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Diane), Stephen (Marisa) of Harrisburg, PA and Christine (Wendell Cooley); her grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Brynn, Brett, Brooke and Victoria Patrick; her siblings, Michael (Mary Ann Singel) and Magdalene (Joe Sank); and her caregivers, Sister Honora, Joanne McKinley, Bill Benyacko and Eucharistic Minister Frank Bazyk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, special neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, a gift fund has been set up in Agnes' name at Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity that was near and dear to Agnes.
