She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matejko and Mary Matejko (Szvoreny); her husband John; and her siblings, George, Mary, Julia "Connie", Helen, Michael and Anne.

She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan and Martin Podvojsky. She is also survived by her children and was an avid animal lover, especially of her cats.

Donations may be made in Barbara's memory to Venue Of Merging Arts (V.O.M.A), Johnstown PA.
