It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Ashcom (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jo Ashcom to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Alberter and Harriet Alberter (Hayes); her husband Robert I. Ashcom; and her siblings, Esther Grachan, Ethel Bombatch, Goldie Rayner, Jean Mora, Darla Rummel and Francis "Bud" Alberter.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Ashcom (Karen) and Sharon Wilson (William); her grandchildren, Thomas Ashcom, Billy, Robbie Clevenger and Teddy Wilson; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Alberter and Darrel Rummel. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St., Dunmore, PA 18510.
