She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Blanche Smith (Evans); her husband Ralph G. Ling; and her siblings, Winifred, Shirley, Duane, Audrey and George Ronald.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Kline (Glenn), Bill Ling (Patty) of Anacortes, WA, Barbara Paul (Lincoln), Kitchener and Ontario; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan Ingram, Vanessa Barton, Zachariah Miller, Joseph, Jesse and Mitchell Paul. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; Betty had 27 nieces and nephews.
