He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strachan and Grace Strachan (Shull) of Moxham; and his siblings, Jack (Margaret), Marion Millar (Bill) and Betty Rupert (Blair).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Miller); his sister Jane Oleksak; his children, Robin Strachan, Susan LaLima (John), John Strachan (Monica) and Jenny Allen (Ed); his grandchildren, Lauren Fritts (Tim), Liz Kirkpatrick (Ryan), Emily Fabick (Simon Yeung), Devon Strachan, Trevor Strachan and Chelsey Allen; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, William Fritts, Maggie and Tommy Kirkpatrick.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do something nice for someone, as Bill would have done.
