He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Alt and Theresa Alt (Theil); his wife Paula Ann Alt (Sutt); his son Charles Alt Jr.; and his siblings, Theresa Alt and Francis Alt II.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jonathan, Ashley, Tyler, Nichele, Joshua, Lauren, Matthew, Jacob, Alec, Brooklyn, Arron, Alexis, Caitlyn, Delaney, Alyssa, Edward and Franklin; his great grandchild Brody; his sister Amelia Kristofco; and his close friend Paula Lavely of Johnstown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
