He is survived by: his sons, Charles and Jermaine McDay; his siblings, Benjamin (Tanya), Terry, Faye McCray of Providence and Rosalie McCray of Johnstown; his aunt Shirley Jackson of Johnstown; and his close friend Sheila Shay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
