He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O. Sr. Gilman and Vivian L. Gilman (Martin). He is survived by: his children, Charles P. Gilman (Margaret Murphy) of Silver Springs, MD and Amy L. Gilman (Stuart Serles) of Orlando, FL; his pets, Louie, Bean and Bubbies; and his siblings, Susan Birtle of Johnstown, Sharon Heider (Doug) of Johnstown and Martin Gilman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that social distancing and masks be worn at the funeral home.
