He was predeceased by: his parents, David Alwine and Edith Alwine (Thomas); and his brothers, Merle, Clair, Dean, Sanford and Carl.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Alwine (Neufeld); his children, Shereen Davis (Larry) and Kevin Alwine; his grandsons, Thomas and Micah Davis; and his siblings, Dorcas Zook and Harold Alwine (Reta).
